The Wellhouse treatments and thermal area use are available to non-residential day guests as well as residents of Rockhill House and the Coach House.

At The Wellhouse we know people follow their own pathways to wellness, relaxation and calm and that each of us is on our own journey. Below are some commonly asked questions that will help you plan your visit. You can view our general terms here.

What are the current opening hours for The Wellhouse at Rockhill House?

The Wellhouse Intentional Spa Treatment times: Wednesday to Sunday from 10am- 6pm

Treatments are bookable daily subject to availability and are available from 10am to 6 pm inclusive.

Are pre-bookings essential at The Wellhouse at Rockhill House?

Yes. To avoid disappointment pre-booking is essential for all visits to The Wellhouse for both resident and non-resident guests. Bookings cannot be confirmed or secured without a credit card. All other treatments must be paid for on departure.

Will I have access to the Thermal Experience before my treatment at The Wellhouse?

Yes. Residents and Non-Residents enjoy 90-minute complimentary use of the Thermal Area before all full spa treatments booked.

You are invited to arrive sixty minutes prior to your appointment to enjoy the exclusive facilities of the spa thermal area. Please allow an additional 15 minutes before your appointment time to complete a spa consultation form, change into our luxurious robes and footwear, and familiarize yourself with our surroundings.

Please be aware that late arrivals will not receive an extension to their treatment but a full charge will be incurred.

What is your cancellation policy?

Guests who wish to reschedule or cancel an appointment are required to give 48 hours' notice, otherwise, a charge of 50% of the treatment/service will apply.

Cancelation less than 24 hours before the treatment/service will incur a 100% charge.

"No Shows" will incur a 100% charge.

Can I arrange a tour of The Wellhouse at Rockhill House Estate?

For the discretion and privacy of the guests using the Wellhouse facilities, we may not be able to give a show around of the Spa.

When should I arrive for my appointment at The Wellhouse?

It is advisable to arrive at the Wellhouse reception at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment reservation so that you can complete a confidential consultation form if not already completed online and enjoy your complimentary thermal experience

Please note that management will not take responsibility for any items left in any area of the spa including in a secure locker.

Do I need to remove my clothes during my treatment?

The therapists use professional draping techniques to ensure your privacy at all times. Disposable underwear is provided for wear throughout the Wellhouse spa services or you may wear your own. Please note that management will not take responsibility for any items left in any area of the spa including in a secure locker.

Can I visit The Wellhouse at Rockhill House Estate alone?

Absolutely, many of our residential guests use their time at the spa to get away from everyone else and to spend time concentrating on their own individual needs.

Should I inform my therapist of my medical condition?

It is important to let us know when completing your consultation form if you suffer from any mild to severe conditions such as high/low blood pressure, heart disease, respiratory problems, diabetes, etc as certain treatments may not be recommended.

When is massage not advisable?

Massage is not recommended if your medical condition may worsen due to the treatment or if the condition is contagious. If you are unsure about your condition, please contact us and we will either recommend specific treatments or refer you to your general practitioner.

Who can help me decide which treatment will best suit my needs?

Our expert practitioners are available to assist with any questions you may have and to provide guidance on how to make the most of your time at The Wellhouse. Simply contact The Wellhouse directly and we will be more than happy to assist you.

What if I have questions during my treatment or during my time at The Wellhouse?

We encourage you to ask any questions and voice any queries or concerns you may have with your therapist. Open communication is to aid your comfort level, allowing you to receive the full benefits of your treatment. Do not be afraid to let your therapist know. In other areas of The Wellhouse members of staff are at hand to assist you.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes. Gift vouchers are available for any Wellhouse treatment, spa thermal program, or retail product and are an ideal present for someone special. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be presented at the time of treatment or purchase.

Note: The Wellhouse continues to encourage physical distancing and encourages all individuals to take personal responsibility when visiting the spa. We kindly ask all guests to continue to wear face coverings during their time with us.

Credit/debit card details will be required to secure all bookings including those to be paid by gift voucher. If you are paying by gift voucher please remember to bring it with you on the day and present it on arrival. Gift vouchers are non-refundable & no change will be given from a gift voucher.

Group bookings are welcomed, and the person making the booking for a group will be responsible for ensuring all those attending are made aware of and comply with the terms & conditions of  The Wellhouse

Pregnancy treatments:

We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers who are 14 weeks or more pregnant, however, use of the Thermotherapy Suite is not recommended during any stage of pregnancy.

Flexible booking policy:  

The Wellhouse ensures guest safety will be our main priority, if you develop any of the symptoms of COVID -19 prior to arrival, we will ask you not to attempt to travel and contact us.  We will help to re-arrange your appointment to another date.

The Wellhouse environment

Please note that the Thermotherapy Suite is an adult-only environment and is only open to persons aged 18 and over. Young persons between the ages of 16 and 18 can avail of treatments provided they are to be accompanied by an adult.

Management of The Wellhouse will not condone any abusive behavior from any individual or group of individuals towards their staff members.

All brochure content is correct at the time of publishing.

Management reserves the right to amend any aspect of the content at any time without prior notice.

Etiquette

To ensure all guests experience the sanctuary of The Wellhouse, we respectfully request that all guests keep noise to a minimum.

The use of mobile phones and electronic devices is strictly prohibited.

Smoking, the use of E-Cigarettes & the use of drugs in The Wellhouse is strictly prohibited.

Alcohol can only be consumed in the Bothy, but only from plastic glasses.

We reserve the right to refuse entrance to The Wellhouse to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

We reserve the right to ask any guest or group of guests to leave The Wellhouse if they are disturbing other guests

Management reserves the right to close any area of The Wellhouse inclusive of the Thermotherapy Suite, without prior notice for essential maintenance.

Complaints policy:

Any issues in relation to your treatment and or thermal experience must be raised at the time or prior to your departure from the spa that very day.
